The posting

Voor een technische, familiale KMO in Lokeren zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren TIG-lasser om het team te versterken. Je komt terecht in een team van vier lassers en werkt mee aan de bouw van unieke mechanische installaties en constructies.

Dit is geen job waarbij je elke dag hetzelfde product uit een serie last. Elke constructie is anders, waardoor je werk gevarieerd blijft en je jouw technische kennis en vakmanschap volop kunt inzetten.

Jobomschrijving

Als TIG-lasser sta je in voor het samenstellen en aflassen van mechanische constructies en machines in RVS (inox).

Je vertrekt daarbij van technische tekeningen en plannen en bouwt de constructie stap voor stap op.

Concreet:

  • Je stelt mechanische constructies en machines samen op basis van een technisch plan.
  • Je werkt voornamelijk met RVS/inox.
  • Je last constructies af met het TIG-lasproces.
  • Je voert fijn en nauwkeurig laswerk uit waarbij een verzorgde afwerking belangrijk is.
  • Je last RVS-buizen waar nodig dubbelzijdig af met behulp van formeergas.
  • Je bereidt de lasverbindingen voor en positioneert platen, buizen en profielen correct.
  • Je stelt de juiste lasparameters in volgens het materiaal en de uit te voeren lasverbinding.
  • Je controleert je eigen laswerk en zorgt voor een kwalitatieve afwerking.
  • Je werkt met courante metaalbewerkingsmachines.
  • Je denkt mee na over de praktische aanpak van een constructie en springt bij waar nodig. Omdat er geen seriewerk wordt geproduceerd, is elke opdracht anders. Dat maakt de job technisch uitdagend en zorgt ervoor dat je jezelf voortdurend kunt blijven ontwikkelen.

Voor deze functie zoeken we geen beginnende lasser, maar een ervaren TIG-lasser die zijn vak kent.

Je beschikt over:

  • Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring met TIG-lassen en het samenstellen van RVS-constructies.
  • Een goede ervaring met het fijnere TIG-laswerk in inox.
  • Ervaring met het samenstellen van constructies of mechanische machines op basis van een technisch plan.
  • Kennis van het lassen van RVS-buizen met TIG en formeergas.
  • Een goed technisch inzicht en oog voor detail.
  • Ervaring met courante metaalbewerkingsmachines.
  • Een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Een nauwkeurige en kwaliteitsgerichte werkhouding.
  • De flexibiliteit om verschillende opdrachten aan te pakken.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands en je kunt je vlot uitdrukken op de werkvloer.
  • Je bent iemand die werk ziet, graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt en trots is op een mooi afgewerkt stuk.
