Wat ga jij doen?

  • Het organiseren en coördineren van transporten via weg, spoor, zee en lucht behoort tot de verantwoordelijkheden.
  • Daarnaast wordt de operationele opvolging van transporten verzorgd, waaronder afvaarten, railcars en VGM.
  • Ook het opmaken en verwerken van transport- en verschepingsdocumenten, zoals Bill of Lading, Letters of Instruction, Dispatch Advices en Mate's Receipts, maakt deel uit van het takenpakket.
  • Douanedocumenten ga je ontvangen en correct verwerken.
  • Verder wordt transportinformatie en bijbehorende procedures beheerd en geactualiseerd, onder andere via SharePoint.
  • Het opstellen en versturen van container- en cargolijsten wordt eveneens uitgevoerd.
  • Klanten worden geïnformeerd over kosten, transittijden en de status van hun zendingen. Tot slot wordt gezorgd voor een correcte administratie en een vlotte overdracht van informatie binnen het team.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je behaalde een bachelor in logistiek, supply chain, internationale handel of gelijkwaardig.
  • Verder kan je drie tot vijf jaar ervaring als freight forwarder of in een gelijkaardige rol aantonen.
  • Een sterke operationele kennis van freight forwarding en logistieke processen heb je al.
  • Daarnaast heb je kennis van transportdocumentatie en IT-systemen.
  • Indien je een IMDG certificaat (gevaarlijke goederen) hebt, is dat een sterke troef.
  • Nederlands en Engels kan je vlot spreken en schrijven.
  • Nauwkeurig, stressbestendig, klantgericht en communicatief sterk zijn kwaliteiten die jouw persoonlijkheid omschrijven.
  • Zelfstandig werken en prioriteiten beheren schrikken jou niet af.
