The posting

Als toezichter zorg je ervoor dat alle werkzaamheden en activiteiten in de openbare ruimte — zoals kabel- en leidingwerk, wegenonderhoud en innames van het openbaar domein — volgens de afspraken en richtlijnen verlopen.

Je dagelijkse taken zijn onder andere:

  • Toezicht houden op alle nutswerken en wegenisactiviteiten in de openbare ruimte.
  • Controleren of vergunningen, voorschriften en bestekken correct worden nageleefd.
  • Afwijkingen signaleren en, afhankelijk van de urgentie, zelf of via de juiste kanalen ingrijpen.
  • Overleggen met aannemers, nutsbedrijven en collega’s van de dienst Openbare Ruimte.
  • Ondersteunen bij het opmaken of controleren van plaatsbeschrijvingen en inplantingen.
  • Rapporteren over de voortgang, gebreken en opleveringen van de werkzaamheden.

  • Je hebt kennis van de code nutswerken en de standaardbestekken van het Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer.
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt op het terrein voor verschillende gemeentelijke diensten en hebt overzicht over de dagelijkse activiteiten.
  • Je communiceert en werkt administratief vlot.
  • Je gaat op een correcte en oplossingsgerichte manier om met burgers en kunt aannemers aanspreken op de kwaliteit van hun werk.
  • Je bent een teamspeler, maar werkt ook zelfstandig en resultaatgericht.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van informaticatoepassingen zoals Outlook en Office, en kunt diverse informatieplatformen raadplegen en interpreteren.
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld, hebt oog voor detail en goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • Je werkt graag buiten en schakelt makkelijk tussen verschillende partijen.

Je hebt minstens een diploma hoger secundair onderwijs of een gelijkwaardig diploma in een technische richting.

Kan je niet alles afvinken (diploma is wel een vereiste), maar ben je erg leergierig, flexibel en zelfstandig en heb je een gezonde portie logisch denkvermogen, laat dan toch maar van je horen. Wij geloven immers dat je met de juiste ingesteldheid snel heel wat kan bijleren.
