Wat doe je?

Hou je van een afwisselende job waarbij je veel contact hebt met mensen en actief bezig bent? Dan is deze functie misschien iets voor jou.

Als toezichter zorg je ervoor dat de gemeentelijke sportinfrastructuur in Temse elke dag veilig, netjes en gebruiksklaar is. Je bent een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt voor sporters, verenigingen en bezoekers en draagt mee bij aan een aangename sportomgeving voor jong en oud.

Je houdt toezicht op het gebruik van de sporthallen en het openlucht sportcentrum en zorgt ervoor dat alles vlot verloopt. Je opent en sluit de infrastructuur, ontvangt gebruikers en helpt hen verder met praktische vragen. Tegelijk hou je een oogje in het zeil zodat bezoekers veilig en volgens de afspraken gebruikmaken van de accommodatie.

Je schrikt er niet voor terug om de handen uit de mouwen te steken. Je zet materiaal klaar voor activiteiten, voert kleine technische herstellingen uit en zorgt ervoor dat de infrastructuur er verzorgd bij ligt. Bij een incident reageer je rustig en kordaat en dien je indien nodig eerste hulp toe.

Concreet sta je onder meer in voor:

  • het openen en sluiten van de sporthallen en sportterreinen;
  • het ontvangen van bezoekers en het toewijzen van kleedkamers;
  • het controleren van de infrastructuur en kleedkamers na gebruik;
  • het klaarzetten en opbergen van sportmateriaal;
  • het uitvoeren van kleine technische herstellingen;
  • het toezien op veiligheid, orde en netheid;
  • het verlenen van eerste hulp bij ongevallen;
  • het informeren en ondersteunen van bezoekers.

Omdat sport zich vooral afspeelt in de vrije tijd van inwoners, werk je regelmatig 's avonds en in het weekend. Daar staat een gevarieerde job tegenover waarin je elke dag het verschil maakt voor sporters en verenigingen in Temse.

  • Er zijn geen diplomavereisten.
  • Je hebt kennis van de veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Kennis van EHBO is een pluspunt.
  • Goede kennis van de Nederlandse taal
  • Je bent bereid om buiten de normale werkuren te werken.
  • Je bent bereid om avond- en weekendwerk te verrichten.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en gaat zorgzaam om met materiaal en infrastructuur.
  • Je kan vlot omgaan met bezoekers, collega's en verenigingen.
  • Je bent flexibel en kan inspelen op wisselende situaties en prioriteiten.
