Opdrachtomschrijving Als Toezichthouder Alcoholwet (BOA) ben jij de gastheer of gastvrouw voor de regio. Je controleert horeca, commerciële gelegenheden, supermarkten en slijterijen. Je houdt toezicht op drank- en horecavergunningen en je houdt toezicht op het verstrekken van alcohol aan minderjarigen. Ook controleer je op verleende vergunningen/ontheffingen en houd je toezicht op de wet op kansspelen kansspelautomaten/speelautomaten. Je hebt een signalerende functie naar de ketenpartners zoals politie etc. Waar nodig maak je een proces verbaal of een boeterapportage op en levert desgewenst input op bestuurlijk niveau aan verschillende ketenpartners (juristen). Daarnaast werk je zowel tijdens kantooruren als 's avonds, in het weekend en op feestdagen. Je treedt corrigerend en/of verbaliserend op, adviseert over de toepassing van bestuursdwang en draagt zorg voor de afhandeling van de formele besluitvorming. In de rol van adviseur volg en signaleer je ontwikkelingen en adviseer je hierover. Je verricht onderzoek en adviseert met betrekking tot de vertaling naar beleid, regelgeving en procedures. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het inventariseren van de risico's en je rapporteert hierover aan het management. Ook toets je de kwaliteit en kwantiteit van producten en protocollen. Als Toezichthouder Alcoholwet heb je ook te maken met een stuk informatie en administratie. Op dit vlak geef je voorlichting en verstrek je informatie en aanwijzingen aan het publiek/belanghebbenden.
