Je bent regelmatig te vinden op bouwplaatsen, in de wijken en bij evenementen. Geen werkdag is hetzelfde: de ene dag houd je toezicht op een bouwproject, de andere dag onderzoek je meldingen van strijdig gebruik, of ander gebruik dat niet past binnen het omgevingsplan. Je voert controles uit, gaat in gesprek met bewoners en ondernemers, legt bevindingen vast en zet waar nodig handhavingstrajecten in gang. Daarnaast denk je mee over nieuwe initiatieven en adviseer je collega's over de naleving van wet- en regelgeving. Je werkt veel buiten, schakelt gemakkelijk met collega's, inwoners en ketenpartners en ziet het resultaat van jouw inzet direct terug in de praktijk. Met trots aan de slag: dit is wat jij gaat doen. Als Toezichthouder Bouw en Wonen zorg je ervoor dat bouwen, wonen en werken veilig en volgens de regels gebeurt. Je houdt toezicht op bouwprojecten, bestaande gebouwen en evenementen en bent alert op situaties die om actie vragen. Je signaleert afwijkingen, spreekt betrokkenen aan en zorgt samen met collega's voor passende oplossingen. Je houdt je onder andere bezig met: - Toezicht houden op bouwplaatsen, bestaande gebouwen en evenementen; - Controleren van constructieve veiligheid, vergunningen en naleving van wet- en regelgeving en op strijdig gebruik; zoals illegale bewoning, ongeoorloofde kamerverhuur - Oppakken van meldingen, klachten en calamiteiten binnen de gemeente; - Uitvoeren van controles en handhavend optreden wanneer dat nodig is; - Adviseren van inwoners, bedrijven en aannemers over wet- en regelgeving; - Signaleren van knelpunten en afstemmen met collega's ...
