Optimus Primair Onderwijs zoekt een lid voor haar Raad van Toezicht met het profiel Mens en Organisatie Over Optimus Optimus Primair Onderwijs is een ondernemende en ambitieuze stichting voor het primair onderwijs met 39 scholen in de gemeenten Land van Cuijk, Maashorst en Oss. De stichting verzorgt onderwijs voor circa 6000 leerlingen en heeft ruim 650 medewerkers. De scholen van Optimus verschillen van elkaar qua omvang en schoolconcept. Sommige scholen liggen in wijken van grotere plaatsen en andere scholen zijn de enige school in een klein dorp. De omvang van de scholen varieert tussen de 50 en 550 leerlingen. Het koersplan 2022-2026 draagt de titel 'Optimus Wereldscholen' en biedt focus, inspiratie en creatieve spanning om Wereldonderwijs aan te bieden nu en in de toekomst. Passend bij de behoeften van de kinderen en de samenleving. Optimus staat voor het beste onderwijs voor de kinderen die aan onze Wereldscholen zijn toevertrouwd. Zij staan centraal in onze koers. Het beste onderwijs kun je alleen realiseren wanneer ook de mensen die direct en indirect zorgdragen voor de kwaliteit van onderwijs en organisatie centraal staan. Wij kiezen daar expliciet voor. Inmiddels is een proces opgestart om nog voor de zomer van 2026 een nieuw breed gedragen koersplan te kunnen vaststellen. Er staat een stevige organisatie. Optimus heeft de kwaliteit van onderwijs en organisatie aantoonbaar goed op orde. Hetzelfde geldt voor de inrichting van de governance. De komende jaren ligt naast de kwaliteit van het onderwijs de nadruk op het aantrekken, boeien en binden van voldoende gekwalificeerd personeel, het verder ontwikkelen van Optimus als kennisintensieve organisatie en het optimaliseren en verduurzamen van onze gebouwen. Het behouden van de goede uitgangspositie van Optimus is een blijvend punt van aandacht gezien de landelijke en regionale ontwikkelingen rondom het tekort aan onderwijspersoneel.
