Wil je meewerken aan het ontwerp en de verdere ontwikkeling van matrijzen binnen een industriële productieomgeving? Spreekt het je aan om niet alleen te ontwerpen, maar ook actief mee te denken over verbeteringen binnen het ontwerpproces? Dan is deze rol zeker het ontdekken waard!

Voor een sterke speler binnen de metaalindustrie in de regio van Roeselare zijn we op zoek naar een Tooling Design Engineer die het engineeringteam versterkt. In deze functie werk je mee aan het ontwerpen en verbeteren van tooling voor productieprocessen, terwijl je tegelijk betrokken bent bij projecten die gericht zijn op het optimaliseren van de ontwerpomgeving en engineeringprocessen.

Je komt terecht bij een internationale productieorganisatie met een duidelijke industriële focus en een pragmatische manier van werken. Met meer dan 600 medewerkers en een jaarlijkse omzet van ongeveer €300 miljoen realiseert dit bedrijf dagelijks hoogwaardige oplossingen binnen een gespecialiseerde metaaltoepassing.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Het mechanisch ontwerpen van matrijzen en afkapsystemen vormt de kern van de rol, waarbij je concepten uitwerkt tot uitvoerbare ontwerpen en productieklare tekeningen
  • Van conceptfase tot opstart in productie volg je toolingprojecten van A tot Z, inclusief testing, eerste opstart en technische ondersteuning aan de machines
  • Nauwe samenwerking met werkvoorbereiding, atelierleiders en productieplanning zorgt ervoor dat ontwerpen correct vertaald worden naar een efficiënte productieomgeving
  • Door stilstanden en prestaties van matrijzen te analyseren identificeer je verbeterkansen en optimaliseer je bestaande ontwerpen om betrouwbaarheid en efficiëntie te verhogen
  • Daarnaast neem je een trekkende rol op in digitaliserings- en optimalisatieprojecten binnen engineering, waarbij je actief meedenkt over hoe ontwerp- en werkprocessen slimmer en efficiënter kunnen verlopen
  • Je bent in het bezit van een Masterdiploma in Elektromechanica of gelijkaardig
  • Daarnaast heb je reeds een eerste ervaring binnen toolingontwerp en ben je vertrouwd met optimalisatieprojecten
  • Kennis van Siemens NX en NX-Teamcenter is een must
  • Verder spreek je vloeiend Nederlands en Engels
