Voor onze klant, een groeiende logistieke organisatie gespecialiseerd in nationaal en internationaal wegtransport, zijn we op zoek naar een Traffic Manager FRIGO.

Je komt terecht in een dynamische transportomgeving waar planning, commerciële opvolging en klantencontact centraal staan.

Als Traffic Manager FRIGO sta je samen met een collega in voor de dagelijkse planning en opvolging van gemiddeld 20 à 25 FTL-vrachten per dag.

Daarbij wordt gewerkt met eigen chauffeurs en rollend materieel, maar ook met onderaannemers en externe transportpartners.

Het takenpakket is gevarieerd:

  • Een vooruitziende planning op weekbasis opmaken en deze dagelijks bijsturen.
  • Nationale en internationale FTL-transporten plannen, coördineren en opvolgen van order tot aflevering.
  • Rekening houden met transporten zonder temperatuurcontrole, gekoeld/vers en diepvries.
  • Zorgen voor een efficiënte inzet van chauffeurs en transportmaterieel.
  • Waar nodig geschikte onderaannemers en externe transportpartners inschakelen.
  • De kennis van de Franse transport- en retourmarkt inzetten om retourvrachten te organiseren en lege kilometers zoveel mogelijk te beperken.
  • Chauffeurs en vervoerders voorzien van de nodige operationele instructies en de correcte uitvoering van de transporten opvolgen.
  • Vertragingen, afwijkingen en andere transportincidenten zelfstandig behandelen.
  • Palletruilen en eventuele verschillen binnen de transportdossiers opvolgen.
  • Dagelijks communiceren met klanten, chauffeurs, vervoerders en interne collega's.

Commerciële verantwoordelijkheid:

Naast planning en operationele opvolging heeft de functie een duidelijke commerciële component.

Een actieve opvolging van de Franse transport- en bevrachtingsmarkt zorgt voor een goed inzicht in beschikbare capaciteit en marktprijzen. Binnen de afgesproken bevoegdheden wordt zelfstandig onderhandeld over tarieven en voorwaarden met vervoerders en andere transportpartners.

Ook richting klanten is er ruimte om mee te denken over transportprijzen en rendabiliteit.

Daarnaast staat een correcte administratieve opvolging van de transportdossiers centraal, waaronder transportdocumenten, POD's, dossierkosten, aankoopfacturen en de voorbereiding van de facturatie.

  • Een bachelor in Logistiek, Transportmanagement of een gelijkaardige richting, of een gelijkwaardig niveau door relevante ervaring.
  • Ervaring binnen nationaal en internationaal wegtransport, bij voorkeur met FTL- en koeltransport.
  • Vertrouwdheid met bevrachting/forwarding en het werken met onderaannemers.
  • Een zeer goede kennis van het Frans, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Een goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.
  • Een sterk organisatorisch vermogen, gecombineerd met het nodige overzicht om vooruit te plannen en tegelijk snel te schakelen.
  • Commercieel inzicht en voldoende overtuigingskracht om zelfstandig over tarieven te onderhandelen.
  • Een analytische en oplossingsgerichte aanpak.
  • Een klantgerichte en stressbestendige werkhouding.
  • Een goede kennis van transportprocessen, CMR-documenten en relevante transportwetgeving.
  • Een vlotte kennis van MS Office; ervaring met ERP- of transportsoftware is een pluspunt.
