Dan is dit juist een mooie kans om daar achter te komen. In plaats van direct voor één functie te kiezen, krijg je hier de ruimte om verschillende kanten van de bouw te ontdekken. Tijdens het traineeship werk je in twee jaar tijd op drie verschillende afdelingen. Je draait dus echt mee en krijgt de kans om te ervaren waar jouw kwaliteiten en interesses het beste tot hun recht komen. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan werkvoorbereiding, calculatie, BIM of technisch projectmanagement. Ook ervaring opdoen als uitvoerder behoort tot de mogelijkheden. Je wordt daarbij niet zomaar ergens neergezet. Met een talentscan wordt gekeken naar jouw sterke punten en ontwikkelpunten. Vervolgens maak je samen een persoonlijk ontwikkelplan met duidelijke afspraken over begeleiding, trainingen en evaluatiemomenten. Zo krijg je de ruimte om jezelf te ontwikkelen, maar weet je tegelijkertijd waar je naartoe werkt. Wat ik persoonlijk sterk vind aan dit traineeship, is dat je na je studie niet meteen in één hokje wordt geplaatst. Misschien denk je vooraf dat werkvoorbereiding helemaal jouw ding is, maar ontdek je tijdens het traineeship dat je veel meer energie krijgt van calculatie of BIM. Je krijgt hier daadwerkelijk de tijd om dat uit te zoeken. En weet je al precies welke richting je op wilt? Dan is het ook mogelijk om direct in een juniorfunctie te starten en vanuit daar aan je ontwikkeling te werken.
