Als trainmanager ben je gastheer of -vrouw op de trein tussen Amsterdam en Keulen-Frankfurt en Rheine. Mario: 'Zo maak je samen met ons het reizen met de trein nog beter en leuker voor onze internationale reizigers. De reis van morgen begint bij jou!' Je zorgt samen met je collega's voor uitstekende service naar reizigers op en rondom de trein. Dit kunnen Nederlandse collega's zijn en ook internationale collega's, bij voorbeeld uit Duitsland. De voertaal op de trein is veelal Duits. Samen met jouw internationale treinteam ben je verantwoordelijkheid voor het veilig vervoeren van de reizigers. Je bereidt de trein voor en controleert op (technische) onregelmatigheden. Tijdens de rit draag je zorg voor het veilig laten vertrekken van de trein en zorg je dat je er bent voor je reizigers. Jij maakt namelijk het verschil als gastheer of -vrouw op de trein. Je krijgt een gedegen opleiding tot trainmanager en je gaat o.a. ervaring opdoen op de ICE. Als de volledige opleiding is afgerond, word je afwisselend ingeroosterd op ICE en Nightjet. NS kent een 36-urige werkweek. NS is een volcontinu bedrijf: je werkt daarom in dag-, avond-, nacht- en weekendroulatie. Tevens is er sprake van overnachtingsdiensten. Werken in deeltijd, met een minimum van 24 uur, is bespreekbaar na het afronden van de opleiding tot trainmanager. De startdatum van de opleiding is april 2027.
