The posting

MPC Sint-Franciscus ondersteunt minderjarigen en volwassenen met een verstandelijke beperking in Vlaanderen en Brussel.

Houtmarkt in Liedekerke begeleidt jongeren en jongvolwassenen (16–25 jaar) met een licht tot matig verstandelijke beperking, eventueel gecombineerd met gedrags- en emotionele moeilijkheden. Binnen de studiowerking en cohousing ligt de focus op het versterken van zelfredzaamheid en zelfstandigheid, met het oog op een succesvolle toekomst.

Van de begeleiders verwachten we inzicht in de ondersteuningsvraag en ervaring in het werkveld om een passend antwoord te bieden op de zorgvragen.

Je functie

· Je begeleidt jongeren individueel of in duo en biedt emotionele ondersteuning om hun psychosociaal welzijn te bevorderen. Je gaat in gesprek over wat hen bezig houdt.

· Je helpt jongeren bij het organiseren van hun dagelijks leven en ondersteunt administratief en praktisch: Je maakt hen wegwijs in de hulpverlening vb. OCMW, CAW, bewindvoering, … Ondersteunt hen in het aanvragen van budget, inkomensvervangende tegemoetkoming, zorgtoeslag, … Volgt hun agenda op ifv werk, school, vrije tijd, medische afspraken, familie.

· Je stimuleert en begeleidt het uitbreiden van hun context zodat ze omringd zijn in deze woelige levensfase.

· Je analyseert de hulpvraag van de jongvolwassen en stelt een ondersteuningsplan adhv verschillende voorziene methodieken.

· JJe werkt vanuit een gelijkwaardige relatie, vertrekkend van de wensen en doelen van de jongere.

· Je zet in op contextversterkend, emancipatorisch en inclusief werken om de levenskwaliteit te verhogen.

· Het gehanteerde bio-psycho-sociaal kader bestaat uit sociale emotionele ontwikkeling Dösen en het contextuele denkkader. We baseren onze begeleidingshouding op de benadering van Non-Violent Resistance.

Je profiel

· Je spreekt vlot Nederlands. De Franse taal machtig zijn is een pluspunt.

· Je hebt minstens een A2 diploma.

· Je hebt ervaring met de doelgroep, maar kandidaten zonder ervaring met een overtuigde keuze om met deze doelgroep te willen werken moeten zich niet geremd voelen om te solliciteren.

· In het bezit zijn van rijbewijs type B en beschikken over een wagen is een meerwaarde.

· Je kan je vinden in permanente dialoog tussen alle medewerkers, over alle niveaus heen, om te komen tot een dynamische, gedragen, visie.

· Je bent stressbestendig, flexibel, betrouwbaar, neemt initiatief en draagt bij tot een warm leefklimaat.

· Je hebt zelfkennis, kan reflecteren over je eigen handelen, kan om met moeilijke situaties en werken in teamverband kost je geen moeite.

· Je werkt in een volcontinu systeem.
