Heb je een sterke kennis van internationale logistiek, transportdocumenten en douaneprocedures?

Voor een producent regio Kortrijk zoeken we een Transport Coördinator die een sleutelrol speelt in het beheren en optimaliseren van internationale goederenstromen. Deze organisatie maakt deel uit van een internationale groep met meerdere productiesites en commerciële vestigingen verspreid over Europa, Azië en Noord-Amerika.

De groep stelt wereldwijd ongeveer 2300 medewerkers te werk en ontwikkelt en produceert oplossingen binnen de textiel industrie. Vanuit de Belgische sites regio Kortrijk en Tielt worden verschillende activiteiten aangestuurd binnen productie, logistiek en internationale distributie.

Binnen deze context krijgt de Transport Coördinator een specialistische rol waarbij je internationale transportstromen opvolgt, douaneprocessen bewaakt en structurele optimalisaties binnen de logistieke keten analyseert. De functie combineert operationele opvolging, analytisch inzicht en samenwerking met internationale partners.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat internationale import- en exporttransporten correct worden georganiseerd en opgevolgd tussen verschillende sites en leveranciers.
  • Je beheert de volledige transportdocumentatie en douaneformaliteiten zodat internationale goederenstromen administratief correct verlopen.
  • Onderhandelen met transportpartners behoort tot jouw takenpakket zodat transportcontracten competitief en efficiënt blijven
  • Analyse van bestaande logistieke flows en voorstellen doen om transportstromen structureel te optimaliseren.
  • Je volgt vaste internationale transportstromen op en bewaakt daarbij kost, timing en kwaliteit.
  • Samenwerking met verschillende interne afdelingen zodat logistieke processen binnen de groep vlot verlopen.
  • Projectmatige dossiers neem je zelfstandig op zoals transport van machines naar buitenlandse vestigingen.
  • Je analyseert verschillende transportmodi zoals wegtransport, spoor en zeevracht en adviseert welke oplossing het meest efficiënt is.
  • Leverancierscontact onderhouden en onderhandelingen voeren zodat transportpartners blijven voldoen aan de verwachtingen.
  • Een relevant diploma binnen logistiek, supply chain of transport kan een belangrijke basis vormen voor deze functie.
  • Ervaring als medior of senior binnen internationale logistiek of transportcoördinatie is noodzakelijk.
  • Sterke kennis van import, export, douaneformaliteiten en internationale transportdocumenten.
