The posting

In deze rol als Transport Coördinator maak je deel uit van een dispatchteam van zes collega's. Je staat dagelijks in contact met chauffeurs, planners en verschillende interne afdelingen en zorgt mee voor een vlotte en correcte uitvoering van alle transportactiviteiten.

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • de opstart van de ritten dagelijks opvolgt en erop toeziet dat alle chauffeurs tijdig vertrekken;
  • de voortgang van leveringen bewaakt en ingrijpt wanneer zich afwijkingen voordoen;
  • nauw contact onderhoudt met chauffeurs en hen ondersteunt bij vragen of onverwachte situaties onderweg;
  • ervoor zorgt dat dringende zendingen tijdig en correct worden afgeleverd;
  • intensief samenwerkt met planning, customer service en interne afdelingen om de continuïteit van de distributie te verzekeren;
  • proactief communiceert met alle betrokken partijen en zorgt voor een efficiënte informatiestroom tussen chauffeurs en de verschillende diensten;
  • wachttijden, prestaties en transportafwijkingen opvolgt en mee vertaalt naar concrete verbeteracties;
  • zorgt voor een correcte transportadministratie rond ritten, wachttijden en dagelijkse controles. Na een grondige opleiding maak je kennis met zowel planning als dispatching, zodat je een volledig inzicht krijgt in de werking van de logistiek en de transportactiviteiten onder gecontroleerde temperaturen.

Voor deze functie als Transport Coördinator past een profiel dat zich goed voelt in een operationele logistieke omgeving en graag het overzicht bewaart in drukke momenten.

We verwachten dat je:

  • bij voorkeur een eerste ervaring hebt binnen transport, logistiek of een operationele omgeving; kandidaten zonder ervaring komen ook in aanmerking;
  • stressbestendig bent en het overzicht behoudt wanneer er snel geschakeld moet worden;
  • oplossingsgericht denkt en initiatief neemt bij operationele uitdagingen;
  • vlot en professioneel communiceert met chauffeurs, collega's en andere betrokkenen;
  • administratief nauwkeurig werkt en je dossiers gestructureerd opvolgt;
  • flexibel ingesteld bent en je thuis voelt in een omgeving waar de logistiek en distributie voortdurend in beweging zijn.
