Voor een vooraanstaande, internationale productieonderneming in de regio Roeselare ben ik op zoek naar een gedreven Transport Coordinator die klaar is om impact te maken en logistieke stromen naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Heb jij een sterke expertise in internationaal transport, een neus voor logistieke optimalisatie en een analytische geest? In deze rol speel je een sleutelrol in het efficiënt en kosteneffectief organiseren van onze wereldwijde transportactiviteiten. In deze functie krijg je de kans om jouw kennis van weg-, zee- en luchttransport, leveranciersbeheer en data-analyse gericht in te zetten. Je werkt nauw samen met afdelingen zoals Supply Chain, Warehousing, Aankoop en Finance, en krijgt de ruimte om continu verbeteringen door te voeren in transportkosten, modaliteiten en service levels.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruitzien?

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het end-to-end beheer en de optimalisatie van internationale transportstromen (colli, road, sea & air transport) binnen een dynamische productiecontext.
  • Je selecteert de meest geschikte transportmodaliteiten en partners op basis van kosten, doorlooptijd, risico's en service levels.
  • Je onderhandelt actief met transporteurs, freight forwarders en logistieke dienstverleners over tarieven, contractvoorwaarden en capaciteiten.
  • Je voert grondige analyses uit van transportkosten, facturatie en KPI's (via SAP BI en Excel) en vertaalt deze data naar onderbouwde optimalisatie- en besparingsvoorstellen.
  • Je volgt douaneregelgeving en -procedures op, signaleert mogelijke risico's bij import/export en zorgt voor correcte documentatie en compliance.
  • Je houdt de vinger aan de pols wat betreft marktontwikkelingen, capaciteitsstijgingen/dalingen en schommelende vracht tarieven.
  • Je stemt dagelijks af met interne afdelingen (Supply Chain, Magazijn, Finance en Aankoop) en fungeert als centrale logistieke aanspreekpartner.
  • Je werkt actief mee aan continuous improvement-projecten om werkmethodes en logistieke processen efficiënter en kwalitatief sterker te maken.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma (bijv. Supply Chain, Logistiek Management, Handelswetenschappen of Elektromechanica), of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van multimodaal transport en beschikt over een basiskennis van douanereglementering.
