Ben jij een analytisch sterke professional met passie voor de transportsector en wil je binnen een dynamische internationale omgeving impact maken? Als Transport Engineer krijg je voor een periode van 6 maanden de kans om complexe transportstromen te optimaliseren, carrier-relaties te beheren en waardevolle inzichten te leveren via datagebaseerde analyses.

Als Transport Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de continue optimalisatie van internationale transportnetwerken en -diensten. Je combineert operationeel beheer met strategische inzichten om kosten te besparen, doorlooptijden te verkorten en de servicekwaliteit te verhogen.

Je focus ligt op drie belangrijke pijlers:

  • Carrier Management: Opbouwen en onderhouden van relaties met logistieke dienstverleners en transporteurs (weg-, lucht- en zeevracht). Je volgt KPI's en SLA's nauwgezet op en voert leveranciersevaluaties uit.
  • Transportoptimalisatie: Opvolgen, analyseren en stroomlijnen van transportflows. Bij afwijkingen grijp je proactief in om problemen snel op te lossen.
  • Logistieke Ontwikkeling & Tendermanagement: Uitvoeren van marktanalyses, opstellen van RFQ's en ondersteunen van tenders voor langetermijncontracten met carriers (contractduur tot 5 jaar).
  • Projectmanagement: Ongeveer 10% van jouw tijdsbesteding gaat naar gerichte optimalisatieprojecten binnen de afdeling.
  • Beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in een logistieke, economische of analytische richting.
  • Heeft ervaring op mediorniveau binnen transport of logistiek en is snel inzetbaar om vanaf dag één waarde toe te voegen.
  • Heeft aantoonbare kennis van carrier management en/of het uitvoeren van logistieke tenderprocessen.
  • Is sterk analytisch onderlegd en heeft ervaring met het maken en interpreteren van data-analyses in PowerBI (kennis van Excel/SAP is een troef).
  • Communicatief vaardig, assertief en proactief in het oplossen van problemen.
  • Vloeiend in het Nederlands en het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
