Voor een internationale productieonderneming in de regio Moeskroen ben ik op zoek naar een Transport Officer die verantwoordelijkheid wil nemen over internationale transportstromen en actief wil bijdragen aan de verdere optimalisatie van de logistieke werking. Je komt terecht in een dynamische productieomgeving waar je jouw expertise in road, sea en air transport combineert met data-analyse, leveranciersbeheer en kostenoptimalisatie. Vanuit jouw rol werk je nauw samen met Supply Chain, Warehousing, Aankoop en Finance en zorg je ervoor dat transportstromen efficiënt, betrouwbaar en kostenefficiënt worden georganiseerd.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruitzien?

  • Je beheert en optimaliseert de internationale transportstromen en bepaalt de meest geschikte transportmodaliteit volgens kost, snelheid, risico en service level.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met transporteurs, freight forwarders en logistieke partners en onderhandelt over tarieven, voorwaarden en capaciteit.
  • Je analyseert transportkosten, prestaties en facturatie en vertaalt deze inzichten naar concrete besparings- en optimalisatievoorstellen.
  • Je volgt import- en exportstromen op en ondersteunt bij douanedocumentatie en compliance.
  • Je monitort transport-KPI's en marktontwikkelingen en anticipeert op wijzigingen in tarieven, capaciteit en regelgeving.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Supply Chain, Warehousing, Aankoop en Finance en fungeert als centraal aanspreekpunt voor transportgerelateerde vraagstukken.
  • Je neemt initiatief in continuous improvement-projecten en zoekt voortdurend naar efficiëntere logistieke processen en werkmethodes.
  • Je zorgt mee voor een correcte opvolging van transportfacturen en detecteert mogelijke afwijkingen of optimalisaties.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Supply Chain, Logistiek, Handelswetenschappen of een gelijkaardige richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen internationaal transport of een gelijkaardige logistieke functie.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van weg-, zee- en luchttransport en begrijpt de belangrijkste principes van multimodale logistiek.
  • Je beschikt over een basiskennis van douanereglementering en import/export.
