The posting

In deze functie als Transportplanner maak je deel uit van een klein planningsteam en neem je verantwoordelijkheid op voor de dagelijkse en vooruitlopende organisatie van de transportactiviteiten.

Concreet zal je:

  • chauffeurs, trekkers en opleggers toewijzen aan ritten die door je collega-planners zijn ingepland;
  • dagelijkse chauffeursbladen opstellen en zorgen voor een optimale inzet van mens en materieel;
  • rekening houden met rij- en rusttijden, beschikbaarheden, voorkeuren van chauffeurs en de kenmerken van het wagenpark;
  • waken over de naleving van de geldende wetgeving en interne procedures binnen transportplanning;
  • de transportplanning op korte en middellange termijn analyseren en capaciteitsberekeningen maken op basis van beschikbare voertuigen en toekomstige transportbehoeften;
  • tijdig mogelijke capaciteitstekorten identificeren en dit afstemmen met je interne collega's, onder meer rond terugkerende transportstromen en piekmomenten;
  • fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor operationele vragen rond planning en transportuitvoering en zorgen voor een efficiënte informatiestroom tussen alle betrokken stakeholders;
  • nauw samenwerken met warehouse operations om de inzet van trailers en laadcapaciteit te optimaliseren;
  • de uitvoering van de planning opvolgen, bijsturen waar nodig en proactief oplossingen zoeken bij onverwachte wijzigingen;
  • samen met je collega's afwisselen tussen de voorbereiding van de planning en de effectieve operationele planning.

Voor deze rol als Transportplanner herken je je in het volgende profiel:

  • je beschikt over een sterk organisatorisch vermogen en haalt energie uit het plannen en coördineren van operationele activiteiten;
  • je behoudt het overzicht over een groot aantal ritten, voertuigen en chauffeurs en weet daarbij de juiste prioriteiten te bepalen;
  • je denkt vooruit, kunt toekomstige capaciteitsnoden tijdig identificeren en hierop anticiperen;
  • je bent gemotiveerd, neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je dossiers en volgt deze nauwgezet op;
  • je werkt analytisch, combineert nauwkeurigheid met een pragmatische aanpak in je transportplanning;
  • je denkt oplossingsgericht en draagt actief bij aan een efficiënte organisatie van de transportactiviteiten.
