The posting

Voor een groeiende speler in de transport- en logistieke sector in West-Vlaanderen zoeken we een Transportplanner. Deze organisatie is gespecialiseerd in distributieactiviteiten binnen een nichemarkt en staat bekend om haar betrouwbare service en sterke operationele aanpak.

Je komt terecht in een kleinschalige structuur waar overleg snel verloopt en beslissingen vlot genomen worden. Vanuit een klein team wordt dagelijks een 35-tal chauffeurs aangestuurd, waarbij samenwerking en onderlinge afstemming centraal staan. Binnen deze omgeving krijg je veel verantwoordelijkheid en ruimte om zelfstandig beslissingen te nemen.

Binnen het bestaande tam zoeken we een Transportplanner die de volledige planning in handen neemt.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Het opstellen en beheren van de planning voor een 30-tal chauffeurs, in nauwe samenwerking met een collega-planner
  • Verder organiseer je transporten op basis van productiebehoeften en zorg je voor een slimme en efficiënte planning, zonder afhankelijk te zijn van klassieke orderinput
  • Verder analyseer je beschikbare data en neem je beslissingen om een continue bevoorrading te garanderen
  • Bovendien stuur je chauffeurs aan en zorg je voor een efficiënte en haalbare dagplanning
  • Alsook los je operationele problemen op en speel je snel in op wijzigingen binnen de planning
  • Tot slot neem je ownership over jouw dossiers en zorg je voor een optimale service richting klanten
  • Een opleiding is minder belangrijk, relevante ervaring binnen transportplanning of logistiek is doorslaggevend
  • Verder beschik je over sterk analytisch inzicht en neem je graag verantwoordelijkheid in je werk
  • Daarnaast denk je in oplossingen en behoud je het overzicht bij veranderingen in de planning
  • Tot slot communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands met een basiskennis Engels en Frans omwille van veiligheidsredenen
