Voor een gevestigde transportonderneming in de regio Gent zoeken we een Transportplanner. De organisatie is gespecialiseerd in containertransport en verzorgt nationale en internationale ritten. Met een eigen vloot van meer dan 40 vrachtwagens bedient de onderneming klanten in onder meer België, Nederland, Duitsland en Frankrijk. Een TMS-systeem en onboard computers ondersteunen de dagelijkse planning en opvolging van de vrachtwagens.

Als Transportplanner kom je terecht in een organisatie die veel belang hecht aan correcte communicatie, wederzijds respect en langdurige klantenrelaties. Ook de opleiding en begeleiding van medewerkers en chauffeurs krijgt de nodige aandacht.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Transportplanner ben je dagelijks verantwoordelijk voor het opmaken van de transportplanning. Je optimaliseert routes waarbij je chauffeurs zo efficiënt mogelijk inplant
  • Via Transics volg je ritten actief op en stuur je de planning bij zodra omstandigheden wijzigen
  • Je hebt dagelijks het contact met chauffeurs, klanten, leveranciers en collega's en zorgt voor correctie informatie en een vlotte operationele werking
  • Daarnaast verwerk je transportdocumenten, CMR's en administratieve dossiers met aandacht voor rij- en rusttijden en geldende wetgeving
  • Tot slot zoek je naar oplossingen bij operationele uitdagingen en denk je actief mee na over verbeteringen die de transportwerking versterken
  • Je bent in het bezit van een bachelordiploma logistiek management of supply chain management
  • Minstens 3 jaar relevante werkervaring als Transportplanner is nodig om deze rol te kunnen uitoefenen
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands. Een woordje Engels en Frans vormen een mooie plus!
