The posting

In deze rol als Transportplanner speel je een cruciale rol in het dagelijkse transport van verse groenten en fruit naar distributiecentra. Samen met een team van ongeveer vijf collega's zorg je ervoor dat dagelijks 45 tot 60 ritten efficiënt worden gepland en opgevolgd. Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende operationele afdelingen en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Teamleider Controlekamer. Dankzij een grondige begeleiding door ervaren planners en dispatchers krijg je alle kansen om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen een dynamische logistieke omgeving.

De verantwoordelijkheden voor deze functie zijn:

  • Je leert stap voor stap hoe je transportplanningen opstelt voor chauffeurs en externe charters.
  • Je werkt met verschillende planningstools en zorgt voor een correcte administratieve verwerking van transportdocumenten.
  • Je volgt ritten op en denkt proactief mee na over oplossingen wanneer onverwachte situaties zich voordoen.
  • Je bewaakt het overzicht binnen de planning en houdt rekening met deadlines, prioriteiten en operationele noden.
  • Je schakelt vlot tussen verschillende taken en behoudt ook tijdens piekmomenten het hoofd koel.
  • Je werkt dagelijks samen met collega's uit diverse operationele teams om een optimale dienstverlening te garanderen.
  • Je denkt actief mee na over verbeteringen binnen de planning en logistieke processen.

De vereiste kwalificaties zijn:

  • Je bent een schoolverlater of hebt een eerste ervaring opgebouwd als transportplanner, dispatcher of in een gelijkaardige planningsfunctie.
  • Je beschikt over sterk logisch inzicht en kan snel schakelen tussen verschillende taken en prioriteiten.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en kan je voldoende uitdrukken in het Frans en Engels.
  • Je werkt vlot met MS Office en hebt een goede kennis van Excel.
  • Je houdt van structuur en hebt interesse in het opbouwen en opvolgen van efficiënte transportplanningen.
  • Je durft beslissingen te nemen en blijft rustig functioneren in een dynamische omgeving.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en weet prioriteiten te stellen wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een ploegensysteem van 6u00-14u00 en 14u00-22u00.
  • Je neemt deel aan een weekendrotatie van één op vijf weekends.
