Transportbedrijf voor maritiem en baantransport (voeding) tussen UK en europese vasteland.

Jobomschrijving

  • Instaan voor de volledige operationele, commerciële en administratieve opvolging van alle transportgerelateerde activiteiten binnen de onderneming.
  • Organiseren en optimaliseren van de transportplanning met focus op efficiëntie, flexibiliteit en kostenbeheersing.
  • Uitwerken, vastleggen en continu verbeteren van efficiënte werkprocessen en procedures.
  • Correct en tijdig verwerken en opvolgen van transportorders in de daarvoor bestemde systemen.
  • Ondersteunen van de transportplanning, voornamelijk met behulp van charterwagens en trailers.
  • Meewerken aan de dagelijkse planning en streven naar een zo efficiënt mogelijke inzet van voertuigen en het realiseren van optimale roundtrips.
  • Bewaken van de klantentevredenheid door snel en doeltreffend in te spelen op problemen, afwijkingen en mogelijke risico’s.
  • Fungeren als centraal aanspreekpunt en coördinator voor klanten, transporteurs, chauffeurs, de verzendafdeling en het magazijn.
  • Actief opvolgen van chauffeurs en subcontractors om ervoor te zorgen dat leveringen volgens de afgesproken planning en deadlines worden uitgevoerd.
  • Toezien op een tijdige en correcte uitvoering van de klantvereisten en zorgen voor een duidelijke communicatie en afstemming met alle betrokken partijen.
  • Instaan voor de verdere opvolging, rapportering en terugkoppeling van transportactiviteiten en eventuele afwijkingen.
  • Ervoor zorgen dat alle bedrijfsactiviteiten voldoen aan de geldende wettelijke voorschriften en dat de vereisten en normen volgens ISO en SQAS correct worden nageleefd en opgevolgd.
  • Je bent sterk in communicatie en oplossingsgericht denken.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en houdt van structuur.
  • Ben je flexibel en bereid om te werken in shiftverband (06u00-14u06 en 13u54-22u00)?
  • Je bent computervaardig en werkt vlot met MS Office.
  • Je hebt een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en een goede kennis van het Engels. Andere talen zijn een troef.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een logistieke omgeving.
