Als Transportplanner kom je terecht bij een internationaal actieve bedrijvengroep binnen de verwerkende industrie in de regio Aalst. De organisatie maakt deel uit van een grotere internationale groep en telt wereldwijd ongeveer 15.000 medewerkers. Vanuit meerdere operationele sites in Europe worden dagelijkse complexe logistiek processen ondersteunt binnen een internationale industriële omgeving. Door hun jarenlange expertise en stabiele marktpositie zijn ze uitgegroeid tot een gevestigde waarde binnen hun activiteit.

Als Transportplanner versterk je een ervaren planningsteam waar een rustige, nuchtere aanpak centraal staat. De communicatielijnen zijn kort, collega's ondersteunen elkaar waar nodig en je krijgt de ruimte om zelfstandig beslissingen te nemen binnen een omgeving waar samenwerking en verantwoordelijkheid hand in hand gaan.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De werkdag start met het overlopen van de planning, waarna je de vaste transportroutes controleert en waar nodig bijstuurt op basis van de actuele situatie
  • Doorheen de voormiddag onderhoud je rechtstreeks contact met chauffeurs, beantwoord je vragen en zoek je praktische oplossingen wanneer een route onverwacht aangepast moet worden
  • Regelmatig stem je af met externe contactpersonen zodat transporten veilig en volgens de geldende afspraken kunnen blijven verlopen
  • Tussen de verschillende planningsopdrachten door bewaak je de continuïteit van de transporten en schakel je zelfstandig wanneer onvoorziene situaties zich voordoen
  • Tot slot zorg je ervoor dat alle ritten correct zijn opgevolgd en draag je de planning zorgvuldig over aan je collega's van de volgende shift
  • Een bachelor Logistiek, Supply Chain of een gelijkwaardig denkniveau vormt een sterke basis
  • Ervaring binnen transportplanning is een grote troef, al komen sterke schoolverlaters met een relevante stage eveneens in aanmerking
  • Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands, Frans en Engels, blijft rustig onder druk en neemt zelfstandig beslissingen wanneer dat nodig is
  • Je kan werken in 2-ploegen rooster van 06:00 tot 14:00 of 14:00 tot 20:00
