Deze onderneming is actief in de voedingsindustrie en beschikt over meerdere vestigingen. Voor de vestiging in de regio Eeklo, gaan we op zoek naar een Transportplanner.

De firma beschikt over een eigen logistieke werking en ondersteunt vanuit deze omgeving haar dagelijkse activiteiten. Een efficiënte organisatie van transport en planning speelt hierin een belangrijke rol. Als Transportplanner analyseer je bestaande werkwijzen en zoek je naar mogelijkheden om processen verder te optimaliseren. Daarbij sta je regelmatig in contact met verschillende interne afdelingen en combineer je planning met analyse. Je krijgt zo een functie waarin transport, data en procesverbetering nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Transportplanner ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen en bijsturen van een globaal transportplan, waarbij je levertijd, beladingsgraad en transportkosten tegen elkaar afweegt
  • Voor nieuwe klanten werk je passende transportplannen uit, terwijl je tijdens piekmomenten, feestdagen en evenementen aangepaste planningen voorziet
  • Je voert grondige analyses uit van masterdata, routes en processen om verbetermogelijkheden te herkennen en onderbouwde voorstellen uit te werken
  • Vanuit jouw analytische blik draag je bij aan voorspellende analyses en bepaal je mee welke transportcapaciteit nodig is
  • Tot slot stem je samen met Sales en de Transport Manager de inrichting van het transportnetwerk af en bewaak je een correcte planning
  • Je behaalde een bachelordiploma in logistiek of supply chain
  • Minstens 2 jaar ervaring als Transportplanner is vereist voor een vlotte uitoefening van deze rol
  • Je communiceert vloeiend in het Nederlands. Een woordje Engels of Frans zijn mooi meegenomen!
