Jobomschrijving

Voor een internationale speler binnen de reiswereld zijn we op zoek naar een Travel Experience Expert.

Voor de verdere uitbouw van de Leisure-divisie zoeken we een ervaren reisprofessional die niet alleen reizen samenstelt, maar klanten inspireert, adviseert en begeleidt bij het realiseren van hun reisplannen. Van een exclusieve citytrip tot een complexe wereldreis: jij vertaalt dromen naar perfect uitgewerkte reiservaringen.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder meer uit:

  • Uitwerken van gepersonaliseerde reisvoorstellen wereldwijd.
  • Boeken van vluchten, hotels, cruises, rondreizen, excursies en andere reiscomponenten.
  • Opvolgen van klantendossiers van aanvraag tot vertrek (inclusief wijzigingen, annulaties...).
  • Onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers, touroperators, hotels en luchtvaartmaatschappijen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan de verdere groei, positionering en ontwikkeling van de divisie.
  • Inzetten van moderne technologieën en digitale tools om de service verder te optimaliseren.

Belangrijk om te weten: dit is geen klassieke reisbureaufunctie met dagelijks klanten aan je bureau. Het grootste deel van je klantencontact verloopt telefonisch en via e-mail. Je haalt dus evenveel energie uit het adviseren en verkopen op afstand als uit het creëren van uitzonderlijke reizen.

Jij bent een ervaren professional binnen leisure travel en weet precies hoe je een klant van een eerste reisidee naar een concreet voorstel begeleidt. Je combineert commerciële flair met sterke adviesvaardigheden en voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar autonomie, initiatief en expertise centraal staan.

Daarnaast beschik je als Travel Experience Expert over:

  • 3-5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen leisure travel, toerisme of als travel expert.
  • Een brede interesse in bestemmingen wereldwijd en verschillende reisvormen, van korte vakanties tot complexe rondreizen.
  • Een sterk commercieel inzicht en een natuurlijke focus op kwaliteit en service.
  • Vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Ervaring met GDS-systemen is een grote plus.
  • De flexibiliteit om regelmatig aanwezig te zijn in de kantoren in Antwerpen, Zaventem en Hasselt.
