Bij Aquafin draait alles om waterzuivering, maar de "fin" in onze naam benadrukt het belang van sterke kennis van financiering en renterisico’s. De Treasury Officers vormen hierbij een klein team met grote impact. Jullie zorgen ervoor dat Aquafin vandaag én morgen kan blijven investeren in propere waterlopen, een gezonde leefomgeving en een klimaatbestendige toekomst.

Je werkt daarbij nauw samen met collega's uit finance, accounting, projecten, operations en het management. Ook externe partners zoals investeerders en financiële instellingen rekenen op jouw expertise. Kortom, door financiële informatie en uiteenlopende belangen samen te brengen, zorgen jullie ervoor dat Aquafin de nodige financiering kan ophalen om zijn doelstellingen te realiseren!

Jouw rol

Als Treasury Officer zorg jij ervoor dat Aquafin kan rekenen op een sterke en toekomstgerichte financiële basis.

  • Je volgt de financiële middelen van Aquafin op korte en lange termijn op en helpt ervoor zorgen dat middelen beschikbaar zijn waar en wanneer ze nodig zijn.
  • Je werkt mee aan financieringsdossiers, onderhoudt contacten met bestaande en nieuwe financiële partners en onderzoekt opportuniteiten die bijdragen aan een financieel duurzame toekomst.
  • Je beheert de portefeuille rentederivaten met oog op risicomanagement op korte en lange termijn
  • Je analyseert economische ontwikkelingen en financiële trends en vertaalt complexe informatie naar heldere inzichten en bruikbare adviezen.
  • Je zorgt voor duidelijke rapportering en ondersteunt je collega's en stakeholders bij financiële vraagstukken.

Zo draag je rechtstreeks bij aan de maatschappelijke opdracht van Aquafin: investeren in proper water en een duurzame leefomgeving voor toekomstige generaties.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Master denkniveau met 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen een financiële functie (treasury, financiering of financiële markten).
  • Je communiceert helder en weet mensen mee te nemen in je verhaal: je vertaalt complexe financiële informatie naar begrijpelijke inzichten.
  • Je bouwt vlot relaties op, luistert actief en weet verschillende stakeholders rond een gemeenschappelijk doel te verbinden.
  • Je analyseert scherp en brengt structuur in complexe informatie: je ziet verbanden, maakt hoofd- en bijzaken onderscheidbaar en trekt onderbouwde conclusies uit financiële gegevens, contracten en andere informatiebronnen. Je legt vlot de link tussen cijfers, processen en de bredere organisatiedoelstellingen.
  • Je volgt economische en financiële ontwikkelingen met interesse: je kijkt verder dan de cijfers alleen. Je schat in welke impact externe ontwikkelingen kunnen hebben op de financiering van Aquafin en vertaalt die inzichten naar concrete adviezen en acties.
