Voor de job in Beringen of Leopoldsburg zijn we op zoek naar een allround tuinarbeider/grondwerker.

Je vertrekt iedere dag van thuis naar de opstapplaats in Beringen of Leopoldsburg en vertrekt van daaruit met je team naar de werven.

De werven kunnen zich bevinden in (Oost-Vlaanderen), Limburg en Vlaams Brabant.

De werkzaamheden maken doorgaans deel uit van de omgevingsaanleg en afwerking van infrastructuurprojecten, bijvoorbeeld:

langs wegen, grachten, waterlopen en rioleringswerken.

Beschoeiingswerken

Bij beschoeiingswerken worden oevers, taluds, grachten of bouwputten verstevigd om te voorkomen dat grond wegzakt, afkalft of erodeert.

Een beschoeiing kan onder meer worden uitgevoerd met houten palen en planken, kunststof elementen, beton of stalen damwanden.

De gekozen uitvoering hangt af van de bodemgesteldheid, waterdruk, hoogteverschillen en technische voorschriften van het project.

De werkzaamheden kunnen bestaan uit:

  • Uitzetten en voorbereiden van de werkzone
  • Plaatsen of heien van palen
  • Monteren van planken, schotten of andere keerelementen
  • Aanbrengen van geotextiel om uitspoeling van grond tegen te gaan
  • Aanvullen en verdichten van grond achter de beschoeiing
  • Herstellen en profileren van oevers en taluds
  • Werken met klein materieel, graafmachines of hydraulische hulpmiddelen
  • Controleren van de stabiliteit en correcte uitlijning

Beschoeiingen worden voornamelijk gebruikt om oevers en waterkanten te beschermen, maar kunnen ook dienen voor de stabilisatie van taluds en hellingen langs wegen.

Inzaaien

Na de grondwerken worden bermen, taluds en andere groenzones opnieuw aangelegd.

De ondergrond wordt voorbereid, geëgaliseerd en waar nodig voorzien van teelaarde. Daarna wordt een aangepast gras- of kruidenmengsel ingezaaid.

De werkzaamheden omvatten bijvoorbeeld:

  • Verwijderen van stenen, afval en overtollige grond
  • Openbreken en egaliseren van de bodem
  • Aanbrengen en nivelleren van teelaarde
  • Manueel of machinaal inzaaien
  • Licht inwerken of aandrukken van het zaad
  • Eventueel plaatsen van erosie beschermende matten
  • Herstellen van bermen en groenzones na infrastructuurwerken

Het doel is niet alleen een verzorgde afwerking, maar ook het beperken van erosie en het opnieuw stabiliseren van de bodem.
