Voor een toplocatie in Puurs zoeken wij een ondernemende Unit Manager Catering & Events. Een rol waarin je de leiding neemt, processen stroomlijnt én zelf de handen uit de mouwen steekt wanneer de actie erom vraagt.

Jouw rol: De perfecte balans (50% Strategie & Admin / 50% Operationeel)

Als Unit Manager ben jij de drijvende kracht op de site. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor de klant, bewaakt de kwaliteit én staat schouder aan schouder met je team. Je leidt een vast team van zo'n 50 medewerkers, dat tijdens grote evenementen uitbreidt tot 60 toppers.

Wat ga je concreet doen?

Operationeel & Teamcoaching (50%) Meebouwen & Meewerken: Je staat tussen je mensen op de vloer. Je schuwt de keuken niet en helpt actief mee tijdens de opbouw, de service en grote cateringevents. Mensen Inspireren: Je bent de verbindende factor tussen zaal en keuken. Je wermt, selecteert, werkt nieuwe collega's in en weet je team dagelijks te motiveren. Kwaliteit & Veiligheid: Je bewaakt de hoogste standaarden op het gebied van hygiëne (HACCP) en veiligheid. Administratie & Relatiebeheer (50%) Klantrelatie: Je bent het vaste gezicht voor de opdrachtgever op locatie en bouwt aan een langdurige vertrouwensband. Organisatie & Planning: Je verzorgt een waterdichte personeelsplanning (inclusief verlof en interimkrachten) en stroomlijnt de communicatie met leveranciers. Resultaatgericht Beheer: Je analyseert en optimaliseert de financiële en operationele resultaten van de unit en verzorgt de rapportages. Oplossingsgericht Handelen: Klachten of operationele uitdagingen pak je snel en professioneel op. Let op: Omdat jij de rots in de branding op de locatie bent, werk je volledig op de site in Puurs (thuiswerken is niet van toepassing). Wie zoeken wij? Achtergrond & Ervaring: Je hebt een horeca-opleiding (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring) en aantoonbare ervaring in het organiseren van grootkeukens en/of events. Kennis van de keuken is een absolute must. Leiderschap: Je bent een natuurlijke 'people manager'. Je communiceert helder, enthousiasmeert je team en beweegt je gemakkelijk op alle niveaus. Hands-on Mentaliteit: Je bent analytisch en sterk in organisatie, maar stroopt zonder twijfel je mouwen op als de druk stijgt. Vakkennis: Grondige kennis van HACCP, financiële en operationele opvolging en het MS Office-pakket (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Attitude: Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands, flexibel, stipt en altijd gericht op oplossingen.
