Zur Verstärkung unserer Forschungsaktivitäten in der Gynäkologischen Onkologie suchen wir eine engagierte und wissenschaftlich ambitionierte Persönlichkeit für eine PostDoc-Position im Bereich der translationalen gynäkoonkologischen Forschung.

Die Stelle ist in der Arbeitsgruppe von PD Dr. Damian Ralser, Tenure-Track-Professor für Gynäkologische Onkologie, angesiedelt und bietet die Möglichkeit, eine zentrale Rolle beim Aufbau und der Etablierung eines neuen gynäkoonkologischen Forschungslabors zu übernehmen.

Wir bieten Die Position bietet die besondere Möglichkeit, den Aufbau einer neuen translationalen Forschungsstruktur in der Gynäkologischen Onkologie von Beginn an aktiv mitzugestalten und eigene wissenschaftliche Schwerpunkte zu entwickeln.

Durch die enge Verzahnung von klinischer Gynäkoonkologie und experimenteller Forschung besteht ein unmittelbarer Zugang zu klinisch relevanten Fragestellungen und translationalen Forschungsprojekten. Ziel ist der Aufbau eines international sichtbaren Forschungsprogramms mit Schwerpunkten in präklinischen Tumormodellen, Drug Testing, Biomarkerforschung und neuen therapeutischen Strategien.

Ihre Aufgaben * Der wissenschaftliche Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Entwicklung und Anwendung präklinischer und translationaler Modelle gynäkologischer Tumorerkrankungen. Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören insbesondere:

* Aufbau und Etablierung präklinischer Tumormodelle gynäkologischer Malignome

* Entwicklung und Durchführung von präklinischen Drug-Testing-Experimenten

* Untersuchung neuer therapeutischer Strategien und Wirkstoffkombinationen

* Identifikation und Validierung prädiktiver und prognostischer Biomarker

* Etablierung und Weiterentwicklung zell- und molekularbiologischer Methoden

* Translation klinischer Fragestellungen in präklinische Forschungsprojekte

* Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung eigener Forschungsprojekte

* Publikation der Ergebnisse in internationalen wissenschaftlichen Fachzeitschriften

* Präsentation der Forschungsergebnisse auf nationalen und internationalen Kongressen

* Mitwirkung bei der Einwerbung kompetitiver Drittmittel

* Betreuung von Studierenden, Doktorand*innen und wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchskräften

Ihr Profil * Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Doktorat/PhD in einem relevanten naturwissenschaftlichen oder medizinischen Fachgebiet, beispielsweise Molekularbiologie, Zellbiologie, Tumorbiologie, Biomedizin oder einem verwandten Bereich

* Erfahrungen in der experimentellen Tumorforschung, insbesondere mit Zellkultur, präklinischen Tumormodellen, Drug Testing oder Biomarkeranalysen, sind ausdrücklich erwünscht. Kenntnisse in molekularbiologischen Methoden sowie Erfahrung mit translationalen Forschungsprojekten sind von Vorteil

* Wir erwarten wissenschaftliche Neugier, Eigeninitiative, Teamfähigkeit und ein ausgeprägtes Interesse an translationaler Krebsforschung

* Englischkenntnisse werden vorausgesetzt (Niveaustufe C2). Deutschkenntnisse erwünscht, aber nicht Voraussetzung

Unser Angebot * Auf Basis einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung (40 Wochenstunden) beträgt das monatliche Mindestgehalt € 5.014,30 brutto (14 x pro Jahr, KV-Einstufung B1)
