Vacancy: Universitair docent Epidemiologie (0,8-1,0 fte) This vacancy has been recommended by the section Epidemiology at Maastricht University. Ben jij een epidemioloog met een medische achtergrond en hart voor onderwijs en onderzoek die ons team wil komen versterken? Solliciteer dan op deze functie met uitzicht op een vaste aanstelling. FUNCTIEOMSCHRIJVING Tot je onderwijswerkzaamheden (0,3-0,5fte) behoren het verzorgen van bachelor- en masteronderwijs, voornamelijk binnen de Faculty of Health, Medicine & Life Sciences (FHML) van Maastricht University, zoals de bachelors Geneeskunde en Gezondheidswetenschappen, maar ook de masters Epidemiology, Work, Health & Career en Geneeskunde. De onderwijstaken omvatten onder andere het verzorgen van colleges en trainingen, het begeleiden van onderwijsgroepen en individuele studenten bij scripties en het vernieuwen en ontwikkelen van onderwijsmateriaal in zowel uitvoerende als coördinerende zin. Het onderzoeksdeel (0,5 fte) zal ingevuld worden naar gelang je kennis, ervaring en interesse en inhoudelijk aansluiten op één of meerdere van de aandachtsgebieden binnen de vakgroep: arbeidsepidemiologie, epidemiologie van het bewegingsapparaat, klinische epidemiologie, moleculaire epidemiologie van kanker en 'meta-research' (zie nadere omschrijving hieronder). Bij een parttime invulling is het de bedoeling om binnen een paar jaar uit te breiden naar een fulltime invulling waarbij het onderwijs gestaag wordt uitgebreid naar 0,5 fte. FUNCTIE-EISEN We verwachten dat je: - een academisch promotietraject hebt afgerond op het gebied van de epidemiologie en geregistreerd bent als Epidemioloog B of dit op korte termijn kunt realiseren; - in het bezit bent van een certificaat basiskwalificatie onderwijs (BKO) of dit wilt behalen in het eerste jaar van je aanstelling; - ervaring hebt met het geven van academisch onderwijs op gebied van de epidemiologie; - affiniteit en ervaring hebt met epidemiologisch...
