Heb je affiniteit met predictiemodellering, onderzoek naar screening en klinische besluitvorming, en werk je graag samen met clinici en onderzoekers uit verschillende disciplines? Dan maken we graag kennis met jou. Universitair Docent Klinische Epidemiologie - Ons doel: Binnen Klinische Epidemiologie ontwikkelen en evalueren we methoden en strategieën die bijdragen aan betere diagnostiek, prognose, behandeling en preventie van ziekte, met een sterke focus op risicogebaseerde zorg, predictiemodellering en de toepassing van epidemiologische kennis in de klinische praktijk. - Jouw collega's: Je werkt binnen de afdeling Epidemiologie van de Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), in een internationale en interdisciplinaire omgeving waarin onderwijs, onderzoek en klinische samenwerking nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn. Binnen het aandachtsgebied Klinische Epidemiologie richt je je op onderzoek dat bijdraagt aan betere diagnostiek, prognose, behandeling en preventie van ziekte. Je werkt daarbij op het snijvlak van methodologie en klinische toepassing, met bijzondere aandacht voor risicogebaseerde zorg, predictiemodellering en de vertaling van epidemiologische kennis naar de klinische praktijk. Je werkt samen met onderzoekers binnen de klinische epidemiologie, screening, predictiemodellering en risicogebaseerde zorg. Daarnaast zijn er intensieve samenwerkingen met klinische partners binnen het Maastricht UMC+, onder andere van de afdelingen Dermatologie, Radiologie, Obstetrie en Gynaecologie en Medische Oncologie.
