Staatsrechtkring Nederlandse vereniging voor staatsrecht Gepubliceerd op 5 maart 2026 door srksecr Tilburg Law School en het departement Public Law and Governance (PLG) zijn op zoek naar een universitair hoofddocent staats- en bestuursrecht met een sterk onderzoekprofiel en uitstekende onderwijskwaliteiten. In het bijzonder zoeken wij iemand met leiderschapsambities en een aantoonbare betrokkenheid bij het Nederlandse staats- en/of bestuursrecht. Uw functie Als universitair hoofddocent staats- en bestuursrecht binnen PLG maakt u deel uit van een grote en diverse groep geëngageerde en toonaangevende wetenschappers die zich succesvol bezighoudt met (de ontwikkeling van) recht en bestuur op lokaal, nationaal en internationaal niveau. Van u wordt verwacht dat u een centrale rol gaat spelen binnen dit departement en bijdraagt aan het innovatieve en impactvolle onderzoek dat er wordt gedaan. U wordt uitgenodigd een eigen onderzoekagenda verder vorm en inhoud te geven en die tegelijkertijd te verweven met het multidisciplinaire onderzoeksprogramma Global Law and Governance . Uw onderzoek begeeft zich op het terrein van het staats- en/of bestuursrecht, met oog voor de vraagstukken die spelen in de Nederlandse rechtspraktijk, alsmede de (sub)discipline-overstijgende aspecten. U beschikt in dit verband over een uitgebreid netwerk en aantoonbare mogelijkheden voor het realiseren van impact. U bent inspirerend voor andere collega's en weet junior-onderzoekers in uw eigen onderzoekagenda en -aanvragen te integreren. U hebt een spilfunctie in het bachelor- en masteronderwijs in de rechtsgeleerdheid, waar zowel staats- als bestuursrechtelijke vakken (en de coördinatie daarvan) tot het takenpakket behoren. Ook draagt u bij aan scriptiebegeleiding van studenten en de begeleiding van promovendi. U bent bovendien bereid een leidinggevende rol binnen het departement op te nemen, dan wel zich in te zetten in departementale of facultaire commissies....
