Als Utilities Maintenance Engineer zorg je voor de technische beschikbaarheid, veiligheid en efficiëntie van diverse nutsvoorzieningen en ondersteunende installaties. Deze functie combineert technisch onderhoud op de werkvloer met opvolging en optimalisatie van installaties.

Je verantwoordelijkheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Uitvoeren van preventieve en correctieve onderhoudswerken aan utility-installaties.
  • Herstellen en onderhouden van compressoren, pompen, afsluiters en leidingnetwerken.
  • Opsporen van storingen, lekkages en slijtage en uitvoeren van passende technische interventies.
  • Technisch opvolgen van stoom-, perslucht-, koel- en waterbehandelingsinstallaties.
  • Uitvoeren van inspectierondes, registreren van meetgegevens en documenteren van onderhoudswerken.
  • Coördineren en opvolgen van externe onderhoudspartijen tijdens geplande werkzaamheden.
  • Bestellen van reserveonderdelen en technisch materiaal.
  • Opstellen, actualiseren en beheren van technische documentatie en werkinstructies.
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding en uitvoering van onderhoudsstops.
  • Formuleren en realiseren van verbeteringen rond betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en onderhoudsefficiëntie.

Je werkt daarbij onder meer aan:

  • Compressoren en persluchtinstallaties.
  • Pompen, afsluiters en leidingnetwerken.
  • Stoomketels en condensaatsystemen.
  • Koelinstallaties, koeltorens en warmtewisselaars.
  • Waterbehandelings- en waterzuiveringsinstallaties.
  • Elektrische motoren en aandrijvingen.
  • Meet- en regelapparatuur.
  • CIP-, doseer- en filtratiesystemen.

Vereiste kennis en ervaring

  • Bachelor in een technische richting of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
  • Een eerste ervaring binnen technisch onderhoud.
  • Sterke kennis van mechanica aangevuld met basiskennis van elektriciteit of elektromechanica.
  • Technisch inzicht in pompen, compressoren en leidingsystemen.
  • In staat om technische schema's, plannen en handleidingen correct te interpreteren.
