Wat doet een servicemonteur in elektrotechniek? Jouw nieuwe werkgever onderzoekt of bepaalde locaties in de zee geschikt zijn voor offshore projectontwikkeling. Vanaf speciale schepen met geotechnische apparatuur worden inspecties verricht. Als servicemonteur elektrotechniek verricht je (preventief) onderhoud en repareer je een groter verscheidenheid aan apparatuur. Hoe dat allemaal werkt op zo'n schip? Geen zorgen, je volgt een training van 2 maanden in Nederland. Zo kun je veilig en zelfverzekerd je werk doen. Bij deze job werk je 4 weken aan boord van een schip in Nederland of in het buitenland. Daarna ben je 4 weken vrij. Gemiddeld ben je 180 tot 195 dagen per jaar offshore.
