Onze school De Keerkring in Woerden is een school voor speciaal basisonderwijs en maakt onderdeel uit van Stichting Kalisto - Boeiend Basisonderwijs. De school telt ongeveer 170 leerlingen, verdeeld over 14 groepen, en biedt onderwijs aan leerlingen met specifieke onderwijs- en zorgbehoeften. De school heeft een streekfunctie. Leerlingen komen uit Woerden en de omliggende gemeenten. Ons onderwijs en de begeleiding stemmen wij zoveel mogelijk af op de behoeften en mogelijkheden van de leerlingen. Onze leerlingen krijgen les in kleinere groepen (tot ongeveer 15 leerlingen) en er zijn extra handen in de klas. Wij geven de leerlingen de ruimte om hun talenten te ontwikkelen. De school is PBS-gecertificeerd en de drie pijlers van onze visie zijn: Gelukkig Samen Leren, waar wij werken door samen verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor een veilige en respectvolle leeromgeving. Vanuit deze visie werken we hard aan de ontwikkeling en verbetering van ons onderwijs. Onze functie Als gymleerkracht verzorg je het bewegingsonderwijs voor de groepen 3 tot en met 8. De gymzaal is nog geen 5 minuten lopen vanaf de school. Je geeft afwisselende en vooral plezierige gymlessen, waarbij je aansluit bij wat ieder kind nodig heeft. Binnen het SBO heb je te maken met een grote diversiteit aan leerlingen en ondersteuningsbehoeften. De ene leerling heeft extra ondersteuning nodig op motorisch gebied terwijl een andere leerling moeite heeft met prikkelverwerking, concentratie, samenspel of het omgaan met veranderingen. Je geeft hier niet alleen les maar je helpt kinderen in het groeien van vertrouwen, zelfstandigheid en plezier in bewegen. Wanneer je net bij ons kom...
