FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING Voor een Belgisch familiebedrijf in de varkenshouderij dat de volledige productieketen integreert, van veevoeders tot het duurzaam kweken en verwerken van varkensvlees - zoeken wij een VARKENSONTVANGER - STALMEWEWERKER met een hart voor dieren.

Als ontvangst- & stalbeheerder bij ons Exportslachthuis De Coster speel je een belangrijke rol in het ontvangstproces van de dieren. Jij bent het eerste aanspreekpunt bij aankomst en zorgt ervoor dat het welzijn van de dieren altijd centraal staat.

Wat ga je doen?

In deze functie werk je binnen het slachthuis op de afdeling stallen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een correcte en zorgvuldige ontvangst van de dieren en begeleidt ze vanuit de transportwagens naar hun tijdelijke opvang.

Je beoordeelt de conditie van de dieren bij aankomst, voert verschillende controles uit en zorgt ervoor dat alle protocollen en richtlijnen nauwkeurig worden gevolgd.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

Ervaring met en affiniteit voor het werken met dieren

Je bent bereid om een opleiding tot Animal Welfare Officer te volgen

Je kunt goed zelfstandig werken en behoudt overzicht in een dynamische omgeving

Je bent proactief, georganiseerd en nauwkeurig in je administratie

Je voelt je prettig in een productieomgeving waar dieren worden geslacht

Je beheerst Nederlands en/of Engels

Je kunt goed overweg met computersystemen

Je bewaakt het dierenwelzijn gedurende het hele ontvangst- en stalproces

Je ontvangt en verdeelt de dieren op de juiste manier in de stal

Je beoordeelt de fysieke staat van de dieren bij binnenkomst

Je signaleert afwijkingen en informeert tijdig je teamleider

Je controleert en verwerkt alle aanleverdocumenten in het systeem

Je voert de aanvoerplanning uit en houdt overzicht in de dagelijkse flow

Je verzorgt de bijbehorende administratie
