Ben jij op zoek naar een betekenisvolle job waar je het verschil kunt maken voor mensen in een kwetsbare situatie? Als veiligheidsbegeleider bij DVZ zorg je voor veiligheid, structuur en menselijkheid in een complexe omgeving.

Wat ga je doen?

Als veiligheidsbegeleider ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt voor bewoners in onze gesloten centra. Je taken zijn divers en betekenisvol:

  • Je biedt bewoners een luisterend oor en onderhoudt goede contacten
  • Je begeleidt bewoners individueel en in groep, en stimuleert een aangename sfeer
  • Je organiseert activiteiten en themaweken samen met het team
  • Je houdt dynamisch toezicht en controleert toegangen en aanwezigheden
  • Je handelt adequaat bij crisissituaties zoals protest, automutilatie of hongerstaking
  • Je rapporteert incidenten correct en geeft advies voor preventie

Over de organisatie

DVZ beheert migratiestromen en staat in voor de uitvoering van het asiel- en migratiebeleid. In onze gesloten centra verlenen we bewoners opvang en begeleiding met respect voor fundamentele menselijke waarden. Je werkt samen met veiligheidscoördinatoren, psychologen, verpleegkundigen en andere begeleiders.

Het werk gebeurt in een volcontinu systeem met avond-, nacht- en weekendprestaties. Je komt terecht in een vaste, goed op elkaar ingespeelde ploeg.

Selectieprocedure

De procedure bestaat uit drie stappen:

  1. Screening van je diploma
  1. Computertest bij Werkenvoor.be in Brussel
  1. Een interview bij DVZ in Brussel
