The posting

Na een grondige opleiding ga je als Field Inspector aan de slag met het uitvoeren van inspecties op locatie – aan wal, op binnenvaartschepen, tankers en andere installaties. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle werkzaamheden volgens de geldende procedures verlopen en dat de kwaliteit van onze diensten gegarandeerd blijft. Je vertegenwoordigt het bedrijf ter plaatse en handelt steeds professioneel en klantgericht.

  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt op locatie en voert inspecties uit volgens de interne procedures en instructies van de Operations-afdeling.
  • Je staat in nauw contact met terminals, schepen en de Operations-afdeling om vlotte coördinatie te garanderen.
  • Je voert metingen uit (zoals peilingen en temperatuurmetingen), maakt veldberekeningen en verwerkt alles nauwkeurig in rapporten.
  • Je voert gespecialiseerde inspecties uit zoals verliescontrole, wandreinigingscontroles of inspecties in besloten ruimtes (na specifieke opleiding).
  • Je begeleidt en ondersteunt minder ervaren collega-inspecteurs.
  • Je rapporteert aan de Operations Manager, met dagelijkse aansturing vanuit de Field Supervisor en/of Operations-afdeling.
  • Je hebt basiskennis van wiskunde en kan vlot overweg met een computer.
  • Je beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs B.
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar kan ook goed communiceren en samenwerken.
  • Ervaring op het terrein is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste – motivatie en leergierigheid zijn minstens even belangrijk.
  • Je bent probleemoplossend ingesteld en denkt actief mee.
  • Je bent betrouwbaar, flexibel, nauwkeurig en klantgericht.
  • Talenkennis: uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van Frans en/of Duits is een troef
