Wat ga je doen?

  • Je speelt een cruciale rol in ons ventilatieteam van het Universitair Ziekenhuis Antwerpen. Na een interne opleidingsperiode ondersteun je de consultatie pneumologie en richt je je op levensveranderende ademhalingstoestellen zoals CPAP, BiPAP en zuurstoftherapie.
  • Je zorgt voor technische controles van CPAP-/BiPAP-toestellen en stelt gebruiksrapporten op voor artsen en mutualiteiten.
  • Je begeleidt patiënt en familie in het gebruik en onderhoud van de toestellen, en staat klaar om hun vragen te beantwoorden.
  • Je deelt je expertise door lessen te geven aan collega’s, UA-studenten en andere zorgprofessionals die meer willen leren over deze technologie.
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor huisartsen, thuisverpleging en technici van het UZA, evenals vertegenwoordigers en partners.
  • Je houdt de administratie voor de conventie voor slaapapneu op orde.
  • Je vult een op maat gemaakte databank aan met patiëntengegevens en houdt deze up-to-date.
  • Je beheert onder andere de voorraad van de consultatie, zodat alles soepel verloopt.
  • Je blijft op de hoogte van de laatste ontwikkelingen in de longgeneeskunde door regelmatig vergaderingen en congressen te bezoeken.
  • Je krijgt de kans om deel te nemen aan boeiend wetenschappelijk onderzoek.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Je hebt een diploma verpleegkunde (basisverpleegkundige, HBO5, bachelor of gelijkgesteld), zorgkundige of een paramedisch diploma.
  • Je hebt interesse in het instellen en uitlezen van medische toestellen.
  • Je bent bereid te werken tussen 8u30 en 17u00 en bent enkele keren per jaar van wacht.
  • Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B.
  • Je bent loyaal en integer in je werk.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en met oog voor detail.
  • Je blijft kalm onder druk en bent flexibel in je aanpak.
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler die professioneel omgaat met alle betrokken medewerkers.
  • Je denkt probleemoplossend en resultaatgericht.
  • Je hebt een goede basiskennis om met computers om te gaan.
