Heb je al enkele jaren ervaring als boekhouder en ben je op zoek naar de volgende stap in jouw carrière als leidinggevende? Als Hoofdboekhouder (A tot Z) geef je leiding aan een 15-tal medewerkers en ben je samen met het team verantwoordelijk voor de boekhoudkundige en betalingsprocessen van VAB NV en verwante vennootschappen. Je ondersteunt hen in de dagelijkse werking en draagt bij aan een efficiënte operationele werking en correcte verwerking van de financiële administratie.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Team aansturen en organiseren: je leidt een team van een 15-tal medewerkers dat instaat voor de boekhouding en betalingen van meerdere vennootschappen. Essentieel daarbij zijn het zorgen voor een goede organisatie, coördinatie en planning met de juiste prioriteiten
  • Rapportering bewaken: Je werkt mee aan de dagelijkse boekhoudkundige verwerking en zorgt voor een accurate en tijdige input voor maand- en kwartaalrapporteringen
  • Structuur en efficiëntie brengen: Je implementeert duidelijke structuren en procedures rekening houdend met de complexiteit van de materie. Je stimuleert een cultuur van openheid, verbetering en vooruitgang
  • Peoplemanagement omzetten in de praktijk: je motiveert en inspireert jouw medewerkers in hun rol als experten. Je stimuleert zelfredzaamheid, ondersteunt waar nodig en zet in op groei en ontwikkeling van hun competenties en vaardigheden
  • Technische expertise en advies leveren: Je coördineert de complexe boekhoudkundige structuur, fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor collega’s bij boekhoudkundige vragen, ondersteunt bij het afwerken van de jaarrekeningen, onderhoudt de contacten met het revisorenbureau. Je rapporteert aan de financieel directeur

Goed om weten

Ons kantoor is gelegen in Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht vlak naast de E17. Het is ook vlot bereikbaar via het openbaar vervoer. Het treinstation is gelegen op 500m van kantoor, een tramhalte (tram 3) op 1.5 km. Kom je liever met de fiets? Ook dat is geen probleem. Er is een overdekte fietsenstalling en ook douches zijn voorzien.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma en bouwde al enkele jaren ervaring op in een boekhoudkundige functie binnen een middelgrote onderneming (zoals VAB met 1700 medewerkers). Daarbij nam je eerder al een leidinggevende rol op, waarin je hebt bewezen een professioneel en sterk team te kunnen uitbouwen en begeleiden
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels en communiceert op een vlotte en open manier met alle afdelingen en stakeholders
  • Je beschikt over een ruime toegepaste technische en inhoudelijke kennis en volgt ontwikkelingen inzake wetgeving, vennootschapsboekhouding en btw actief op. Je combineert deze boekhoudkundige expertise met digitale voeling. Ervaring met MS Dynamics F&O is een troef, en je staat open voor de mogelijkheden van AI en moderne technologie om processen slimmer, efficiënter en accurater te maken
