The posting

Onze klant startte ooit als een familiebedrijf en heeft de hoofdzetel in Luxemburg. Ondertussen werken er al 3400 medewerkers verdeeld over 5 vestigingen (in België: Zeebrugge en Antwerpen). Ze zijn actief In RORO (Roll On Roll Off) en hebben 21 eigen containerschepen. In Zeebrugge verwerken ze wekelijks 2000 - 2500 ladingen. De volledige operationele afhandeling gebeurt ter plaatse in Zeebrugge. Ze vervoeren alles van droge voeding, dierenvoeding en shampoo's.

Je wordt verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van het facturatieteam en houdt tegelijk de kwaliteit van de processen scherp in de gaten.

Concreet:

  • Je stuurt een team van 8 medewerkers aan en maakt de werkplanning op.
  • Je bewaakt een correcte, volledige en tijdige facturatie.
  • Je analyseert processen en zoekt naar manieren om efficiënter te werken.
  • Je bouwt interne controles in om fouten en omzetlekkage te voorkomen.
  • Je grijpt in wanneer er problemen ontstaan en zoekt samen met je team naar oplossingen.
  • Je werkt samen met commerciële, operationele en IT-teams bij nieuwe facturatiestromen.
  • Je ondersteunt je team wanneer nodig en springt zelf mee in de facturatie.
  • Bij facturatievragen sta je klanten professioneel te woord in het Nederlands en/of Engels.

Je bent dus tegelijk people manager, probleemoplosser én bewaker van de cijfers.

Dit heb je nodig voor de job

We zoeken geen leidinggevende die alleen vanop afstand de planning bekijkt.

Je bent iemand die weet wat er op de werkvloer gebeurt, je team begrijpt en tegelijk het grotere proces kan bewaken.

Je hebt:

  • een bachelor/masterdiploma
  • solide ervaring als leidinggevende
  • ervaring waarbij facturatie regelmatig deel uitmaakte van je verantwoordelijkheid
  • een zeer goede kennis van Excel
  • ervaring met draaitabellen, macro's en Power Query
  • een sterk cijfermatig inzicht
  • een analytische en pragmatische manier van problemen aanpakken

Je bent daarnaast stressbestendig, positief en administratief sterk.
