Front Office Supervisor

Ben jij iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt, operationeel sterk is en energie krijgt van een hotel waar geen enkele dag hetzelfde is? Dan zijn wij misschien op zoek naar jou!

Voor ibis budget Oostende Airport zijn we op zoek naar een Front Office Supervisor. In deze functie ben je de rechterhand van de General Manager en speel je een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse werking van het hotel.

Je staat dicht bij het team en onze gasten, werkt zelf actief mee aan de receptie en zorgt ervoor dat de Front Office vlot en professioneel draait. Tegelijk neem je verantwoordelijkheid op wanneer de General Manager niet aanwezig is.

Wat ga je doen?

Je combineert een operationele functie met een duidelijke verantwoordelijkheid binnen het hotel. Je bent een belangrijk aanspreekpunt voor het Front Office team en ondersteunt de General Manager in de dagelijkse werking.

Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Actief meewerken aan de receptie en het goede voorbeeld geven op de werkvloer
  • Aansturen, ondersteunen en motiveren van het Front Office team
  • Bewaken van een vlotte en professionele dagelijkse werking van het hotel
  • Opvolgen van reservaties, betalingen, facturatie en gastenvragen
  • Voorbereiden en administratief opvolgen van groepsreservaties
  • Zelfstandig behandelen en opvolgen van klachten en onverwachte situaties
  • Opleiden, begeleiden en opvolgen van nieuwe medewerkers
  • Toezien op de correcte uitvoering van procedures en gemaakte afspraken
  • De kwaliteit en gasttevredenheid bewaken en bijsturen waar nodig
  • Proactief meedenken over verbeteringen binnen de werking van het hotel
  • De General Manager ondersteunen bij operationele en administratieve taken
  • Verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor de dagelijkse werking bij afwezigheid van de General Manager

Je werkt rechtstreeks samen met de General Manager en krijgt de ruimte om zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheden op te nemen. Hierdoor krijg je een brede kijk op de operationele en administratieve werking van een hotel en kun je jezelf verder ontwikkelen binnen hotelmanagement.
