Als verantwoordelijke kinderopvang sta je in voor de dagelijkse coördinatie, organisatie, kwaliteit en continuïteit van de gemeentelijke kinderopvang. De functie combineert administratieve en leidinggevende taken met een operationele inzet als kinderbegeleider. Bij ziekte, onverwachte afwezigheid of een tijdelijk personeelstekort vervangt de verantwoordelijke medewerker in de kinderopvanglocaties, met als doel een veilige, kwaliteitsvolle en zo maximaal mogelijke dienstverlening te verzekeren. Geen enkele werkdag is hetzelfde bij ons. Je werkdag kan dus uit uiteenlopende verantwoordelijkheden bestaan:

  • Je coördineert en volgt de dagelijkse werking op van de kinderopvanglocaties.
  • Bij ziekte, onverwachte afwezigheid of een acuut personeelstekort ben je inzetbaar als kinderbegeleider op de verschillende kinderopvanglocaties.
  • Je waakt over de pedagogische kwaliteit, veiligheid, gezondheid, hygiëne, inclusie en het welbevinden van kinderen.
  • Je bereidt inspecties, klachten, incidenten en verbetertrajecten voor en volgt deze ook op.
  • Je staat in voor klantgerichte, respectvolle en toegankelijke communicatie met ouders en andere betrokkenen.

  • Je beschikt over een diploma hoger secundair of daarmee gelijkgesteld.
  • Je beschikt over een geldig kwalificatiebewijs voor kinderbegeleider baby’s en peuters.
  • Je beschikt over een sterk inlevingsvermogen en gaat respectvol, begripvol en mensgericht om met collega's, burgers, ouders en externe partners..
  • Je communiceert vlot en helder, kan informatie op een begrijpelijke manier overbrengen en stemt zijn of haar communicatiestijl af op de gesprekspartner.
  • Je hebt interesse in wet- en regelgeving en past procedures, richtlijnen en wettelijke bepalingen correct toe binnen de dagelijkse werking.
  • Je handelt eerlijk, betrouwbaar en discreet, gaat zorgvuldig om met vertrouwelijke informatie en stelt zich professioneel op in elke situatie.
  • Je werkt doelgericht en efficiënt, neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor de uitvoering van taken en streeft naar kwaliteitsvolle resultaten binnen de vooropgestelde termijnen.
