Heb jij een echte passie voor tuin én ervaring om een afdeling te leiden?

Voor een gekende tuin- en dierenspeciaalzaak zijn wij op zoek naar een verantwoordelijke voor de tuinafdeling.

Dit is geen functie waarbij je enkel vanop afstand opvolgt. We zoeken iemand die zelf graag op de winkelvloer staat, klanten adviseert, mee de handen uit de mouwen steekt én tegelijkertijd de verantwoordelijkheid over de afdeling opneemt.

Ervaring in een tuincentrum, plantenzaak, groothandel of een gelijkaardige sector is voor deze functie een absolute must. We mikken op ongeveer 5 jaar relevante ervaring.

Jouw takenpakket

Als verantwoordelijke zorg jij ervoor dat de tuinafdeling iedere dag commercieel sterk, verzorgd en goed georganiseerd is Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • Het dagelijkse beheer en de opvolging van de tuinafdeling
  • Klanten adviseren over planten, tuinproducten, meststoffen, bestrijdingsmiddelen, tuingereedschap en accessoires
  • Bestellingen plaatsen en opvolgen
  • Leveringen ontvangen, controleren en correct verwerken
  • Voorraad en beschikbaarheid opvolgen
  • Zorgen voor een aantrekkelijke en commerciële presentatie van de afdeling
  • Rekken, displays en seizoensgebonden presentaties organiseren
  • Planten correct verzorgen en de kwaliteit ervan bewaken
  • Ziekten en plagen herkennen en klanten hierover adviseren
  • Meewerken aan de seizoenwissel en commerciële acties
  • De dagelijkse werking van de afdeling mee organiseren en prioriteiten bepalen
  • Collega's ondersteunen, begeleiden en mee opvolgen
  • Problemen signaleren en actief meedenken over oplossingen en verbeteringen
  • Administratieve opvolging van bestellingen en goederen
  • Waar nodig meehelpen in andere delen van de winkel

Ervaring is hier echt belangrijk. We zoeken geen kandidaat die nog volledig in het vak moet worden opgeleid. Je hebt bij voorkeur ongeveer 5 jaar ervaring in een tuincentrum, plantenzaak, groothandel of een gelijkaardige commerciële omgeving.
