The posting

Als Werkplaatsverantwoordelijke ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van het service center in Zedelgem, waar zwaar materieel centraal staat. Je stuurt een team van techniekers aan, bewaakt de onderhoudsplanning en volgt herstellingen op, terwijl je zelf mee de handen uit de mouwen steekt op de werkvloer. Samen met de technisch verantwoordelijke werk je aan een efficiënte, toekomstgerichte werkplaats en draag je bij aan duurzame technische oplossingen. Deze functie biedt een combinatie van technische inhoud, team aansturing en optimalisatie van de werkplaats in voltijds dagwerk.

In deze functie neem je het werkplaatsbeheer van het service center voor zwaar materieel op jou. Je combineert technische expertise met team aansturing en zorgt dat de werkplaats dagelijks vlot draait. Concreet zal je:

  • instaan voor de dagelijkse aansturing van de werkplaats;
  • leiding geven aan een team van techniekers en hen motiveren; - onderhoudsplanningen opstellen en de herstellingsopvolging verzekeren;
  • structurele technische problemen signaleren en meewerken aan duurzame oplossingen; - zelf meehelpen op de werkvloer wanneer dat nodig is;
  • actief bijdragen aan de verdere uitbouw en optimalisatie van het service center.

Je rapporteert aan de technisch verantwoordelijke zwaar materieel en werkt nauw samen met collega's om de werking van de werkplaats continu te verbeteren.

  • Je hebt een sterke technische achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld in elektromechanica, autotechniek of mechanica;
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een bachelor elektromechanica of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring;
  • Je hebt drie tot vijf jaar ervaring in een technische omgeving, bij voorkeur met zwaar materieel of een werkplaats;
  • Je stuurt graag een team aan en haalt voldoening uit het motiveren van techniekers;
  • Je werkt hands-on, neemt initiatief en communiceert vlot met collega's;
  • Je kan vlot overweg met basis computervaardigheden en denkt oplossingsgericht;
  • Je bent bereid je flexibel op te stellen; occasioneel zaterdagwerk vormt voor jou geen probleem.
