Wil je bijdragen aan het behoud van onze biodiversiteit? Dan is deze functie als vergunningverlener iets voor jou! Wat ga je doen Als vergunningverlener flora- en-fauna-activiteiten werk je aan aanvragen op het gebied van soortenbescherming. Je beoordeelt welke gevolgen een initiatief kan hebben voor beschermde soorten en toetst of een aanvraag voldoet aan de eisen van de Omgevingswet. Voor deze tijdelijke functie zoeken we bij voorkeur iemand die al ervaring heeft met vergunningverlening op het gebied van flora- en-fauna-activiteiten. Daardoor kun je snel zelfstandig aan de slag met onze dossiers. Tegelijkertijd werk je nauw samen met andere vergunningverleners, ecologen en juristen binnen het team. Bij complexe vraagstukken zoeken we elkaar op en benutten we elkaars expertise. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - beoordelen en binnen de wettelijke termijnen afhandelen van aanvragen voor flora- en-fauna-activiteiten (soortenbescherming); - voeren van vooroverleg met initiatiefnemers en adviesbureaus en afstemmen met onder andere gemeenten, omgevingsdiensten en andere teams binnen de provincie Utrecht; - opstellen en afhandelen van brieven en besluiten in onze digitale systemen; - tegenlezen van besluiten van collega's en geven van collegiaal advies; - leveren van een inhoudelijke bijdrage aan bezwaar- en beroepsprocedures. Je krijgt te maken met uiteenlopende aanvragen en belangen. Soms is een beoordeling relatief overzichtelijk, soms vraagt een dossier om inhoudelijke verdieping en intensieve afstemming.
