Als vergunningverlener begeleid je particulieren en ondernemers bij dit proces. Je informeert hen over de aanvraag en mogelijke risico's en beoordeelt aanvragen en de bijbehorende rapportages. Jouw werkzaamheden Je duikt inhoudelijk in de aanvragen en onderzoekt of de juiste berekeningen zijn uitgevoerd en of aan alle voorwaarden voor vergunningverlening wordt voldaan. Daarbij kijk je onder andere naar mogelijke risico's op verzilting, bodemverontreiniging en de aanwezigheid van beschermde diersoorten. Bij complexe aanvragen werk je samen met verschillende deskundigen en betrokken partijen, zoals hydrologen, biologen, bedrijven en overheidsinstanties. Je vertaalt je bevindingen naar een helder en goed onderbouwd advies. Daarbij houd je de belangen van de opdrachtgever centraal, maar denk je ook mee in passende oplossingen voor de aanvrager. Bij een positief besluit stel je de vergunning op en draag je deze over aan toezichthouders en handhavers voor verdere opvolging.
