Over de functie Als Vergunningverlener Grondwater en Watersystemen begeleid je particulieren en ondernemers bij vergunningaanvragen voor grondwateronttrekkingen. Denk aan het tijdelijk drooghouden van bouwplaatsen of het beregenen van gewassen. Je beoordeelt aanvragen, bemalingsadviezen en technische rapportages. Daarbij onderzoek je de mogelijke gevolgen voor de omgeving, zoals verzilting, bodemverontreiniging en veranderingen in het waterpeil. Bij complexe aanvragen overleg je met hydrologen, biologen en andere betrokken partijen. Ongeveer 75% van de vergunningen heeft betrekking op grondwateronttrekkingen en 25% op watersystemen. Ook aanvragen waarin wegen en waterkeringen een rol spelen, komen voorbij. Binnen deze vacature draag je bij aan zorgvuldig waterbeheer in Zeeland. Wat ga je doen als Vergunningverlener Grondwater en Watersystemen? - Informeren en begeleiden van aanvragers tijdens het vergunningproces; - Beoordelen van vergunningaanvragen, bemalingsadviezen, rapportages en berekeningen; - Onderzoeken van risico's voor grondwater, bodem, natuur en de omgeving; - Afstemmen met specialisten, bedrijven en overheidsinstanties over complexe aanvragen; - Opstellen van onderbouwde adviezen en meedenken over passende oplossingen; - Opstellen van vergunningen en overdragen aan toezichthouders en handhavers; - Beoordelen van nieuwe plannen en bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van het vergunningenbeleid.
