Als verkeerskundige bij de gemeente Heerlen werk je aan mobiliteitsvraagstukken die zichtbaar zijn in de stad. Adviezen gaan van papier naar praktijk. Hoe past een maatregel binnen de wet? Wat vraagt het bestuur? En wat merkt de inwoner ervan? In deze rol komen verkeerskundige kennis, civiele techniek en bestuurlijke besluitvorming samen. Met jouw input worden ambities op mobiliteit concreet en uitvoerbaar. Hoe ziet jouw rol in het team eruit? Vraagstukken die direct invloed hebben op de stad en haar inwoners. Dat is waar de rol van verkeerkundige bij de gemeente Heerlen om draait. Je adviseert bestuur, management en collega-specialisten over verkeer en mobiliteit. Wat is veilig, wat is haalbaar en wat past binnen de wet? Jij brengt dat helder in beeld. Ook stel je verkeersbesluiten op en bereid je deze zorgvuldig voor. Met oog voor juridische onderbouwing en bestuurlijke afwegingen. Binnenkomende verkeerskundige vragen vanuit inwoners of het bestuur? Die pak je inhoudelijk en zorgvuldig op. Soms gaat het om een concrete situatie in de wijk. Soms om een bredere mobiliteitsvraag. Jij analyseert, toetst plannen aan wet- en regelgeving en zorgt voor een goed onderbouwd advies. Daarbij ondersteun je senior verkeerskundigen, zodat zij zich kunnen richten op de meer complexe en strategische dossiers. Zo versterk je samen het team. Daarnaast lever je een actieve bijdrage aan bestuurlijke trajecten en sluit je aan bij overleggen met portefeuillehouders. Hierbij beweeg je soepel tussen beleid, uitvoering en bestuur.
