The posting

Walk The Line is een eigenzinnige schoenenwinkel in Gent met een duidelijke visie, een sterk concept en vooral: veel liefde voor mooie schoenen en onze klanten.

Onze winkel is recent verhuisd, waardoor we onze openingsuren willen uitbreiden. Voor ons team zijn we dus op zoek naar een enthousiaste verkoopmedewerker voor 3 dagen per week.

Wat houdt de job in?

Als verkoopmedewerker ben je natuurlijk in de eerste plaats bezig met onze klanten. Je luistert, denkt mee en helpt hen enthousiast op weg naar dat ene paar waar ze blij van worden. Je hebt feeling voor verkoop en vindt het fijn om mensen persoonlijk en met de nodige aandacht te adviseren.

Maar werken bij Walk The Line is meer dan alleen verkopen. Je helpt mee om de winkel draaiende én mooi te houden. Zo behoren ook volgende taken tot je job:

  • klanten adviseren en begeleiden bij hun aankoop
  • afrekenen aan de kassa
  • online bestellingen verwerken en klaarmaken
  • leveringen uitpakken en correct in de stock plaatsen
  • de stock mee beheren
  • ervoor zorgen dat de winkel netjes, verzorgd en aantrekkelijk blijft

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken vooral iemand die zin heeft om erin te vliegen en zich kan vinden in de visie en het concept van Walk The Line.

Je bent:

  • enthousiast en klantgericht
  • commercieel ingesteld en hebt feeling voor verkoop
  • communicatief sterk en vlot in omgang
  • verantwoordelijk en zelfstandig
  • matuur en betrouwbaar
  • iemand die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt
  • nauwkeurig en georganiseerd
  • niet bang om initiatief te nemen

Ervaring in de retail is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste. Feeling voor verkoop, maturiteit en enthousiasme vinden we minstens even belangrijk.

Wat bieden we?

Een gevarieerde job in een leuke, dynamische winkel in Gent, binnen een klein team waar je mee het verschil kunt maken. Je krijgt verantwoordelijkheid en de kans om echt deel uit te maken van het verhaal van Walk The Line.

We zoeken iemand voor 3 dagen per week (8u/dag). Werken op donderdag, vrijdag en zaterdag. In de week waarin het eerste weekend van de maand valt, is er de optie om op woensdag te werken i.p.v. zaterdag, waardoor je één zaterdag per maand vrij bent.
